Sadly, in a world of advertising, the word organic can be splashed across labels merely as a marketing tool.  In order to guarantee products are organic, they need to be certified by an approved certifying body.  This third party assures products have met rigorous standards to guarantee the purity of the product.  There are currently 6 approved certifying bodies, each with a unique logo. There are many factors that contribute to organic food being more expensive than conventionally farmed food.  The most significant being that the natural farming methods employed in organic food production are more labour intensive.  However, cheap conventional food does not include the health and environmental costs associated with chemical farming.  Some of these include the taxes spent on cleaning up water and land pollution, land degradation and increased health care.  An eye opening video, linking chemical farming to the loss of human health, can be viewed here.  Thank you so so much for supporting organic growers and voting for a better food system with your dollars!

Our farm is certified organic and we only purchase certified produce from farmers who’ve been carefully inspected by one of the national independent certification bodies in Australia. As we value transparency, you can view our certification by visiting our ‘about us’ page.

What we don’t grow ourselves we source within our network of certified organic and biodynamic farms to offer you the best hand picked variety of in season produce. For any produce we haven’t grown ourselves, we will provide details of growers certification within your box.

We have the unique ability to pick to order from our farm in Harvey.  It really doesn’t get any fresher then buying farmer direct!  See our certification on our ‘about us’ page to view what we grow.

The seasonal variety in boxes varies depending on what’s ready to be harvested. Each mixed box contains a minimum of 3 varieties of fruit & 8 varieties of veg.  The larger the box, the more variety and quantity. Select your desired box for a description of its contents. 

Your box will also contain details of growers certification for any produce we haven’t grown ourselves. We hope this information will foster a deeper connection between people and the production of their food.

While we do our best to reduce, reuse and recycle, our boxes contain a plastic liner to reduce contamination when reusing boxes and to ensure freshness. 

You can opt out of this liner by leaving a note at checkout.  However, if you choose to opt out of a liner, Truly Organic Farm will not be held liable for any possible contamination of the contents.

We have a number of pantry essentials as well as house made products you can add to your box. 

After more produce?  Not a problem! In our shop you will find a range of in season extras as well as options for:

+ extra veggies $10

+ extra fruit $10

For these, simply choose from your seasonal box contents what you would like more of and note this at checkout. 

Unfortunately, not at this time.  Picking and packing for custom boxes is quite a process.  We are a small team and dedicate as much time as possible to the needs of our farm.

We hope to grow and offer this service in the future. However, in the meantime, while we don’t offer a design your own box service or swap outs we do offer a number of optional add ons which allows customisation.  Please see the ‘can I add to my box’ section above.

A minimum order of 1 seasonal box is required for delivery.

Currently we only deliver up to 20km from our warehouse in O’Connor.  We charge a small fee for our team to pack and deliver your produce.  By charging this fee you can be assured that there are no inflated produce prices and no value taken out of your box.

We deliver each Thursday.  Orders must be placed by 12pm Tuesday to ensure same week delivery.  To minimise environmental impact please leave last weeks box out for re-use.  Unfortunately we can not give specific times for delivery.  Your box will arrive between 11am – 5pm.  If you are not home you will receive a text to let you know your order has arrived.  Please leave a note at checkout if there’s a specific sheltered place you would like your box left.  Also leave a note with extra instructions should your home be difficult to locate. 

If you would prefer pick up over delivery please enter our warehouse address at checkout.  Pick up is available 10.3am-12pm each Thursday

Unfortunately we can not prepare boxes for collection at our Manning market stall as this is not permitted by the market management.

We take great pride in the quality of our produce.  In the unlikely event you are not satisfied, please take a photo upon receiving your box and contact us via email.  We’re happy when you’re happy!

Please order only if you are able to commit to the purchase.  Produce is harvested for each order and cancellations can result in potential waste.

We understand life doesn’t always go to plan.  If you find yourself in a situation where you need to cancel please give at least 48hours notice before delivery day.

Cancelling orders inside of this will incur a $15 fee to offset some of the costs of harvested produce, admin staff and banking refund fees.

Our payment terms are strictly 14 days.  Failure to comply may result in future orders being placed on hold until outstanding invoices are settled.  Please understand we have our bills to pay too and failure to receive payments puts us and our farm under stress.
